Mr. Bernard is an Ombudsman in the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) group of the Department of Defense (DoD), assisting active and non-active service members settle training and employment-related disputes with their employers, as well as helping employers draft their military leave policies. He is also actively involved in the thoroughbred horse racing industry and various equine ownership and charitable associations.
